- Grapefruit juice should be avoided as it can significantly increase the levels of nifedipine in the body and enhance its effects/side effects.
- Alcohol can also increase side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure.
- Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, especially other blood pressure medicines or certain antibiotics/antifungals, as interactions are possible.
