The distal end is coned with two lateral eyes for efficient feeding or drainage, and the tube has markings every cm from 5 cm to 40 cm for accurate placement. A radio-opaque line runs the length of the tube to confirm placement via X-ray, and the proximal end has a female luer mount for connecting to feeding equipment.
