The Silodal-D 8 mg Capsule is a prescription medication used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland, or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), in men. It combines two active ingredients to help improve urinary function. 

The capsule contains two medications: 

Primarily used for BPH, Silodal-D 8 mg Capsule offers benefits such as improved urinary flow and reduced symptoms like frequent or urgent urination, weak stream, and difficulty starting urination. It may also help prevent complications like acute urinary retention. 

Common side effects may include dizziness, headache, nasal congestion, ejaculation disorders, decreased libido, impotence, breast changes, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. 

Silodal-D 8 mg Capsule requires a prescription and is only for men. Inform your doctor about your medical history, especially low blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, or heart issues. It can interact with other medications, particularly other alpha-blockers, antifungals, and blood pressure drugs. Avoid alcohol as it can increase dizziness. Tell your eye doctor if you are having cataract or glaucoma surgery.
